The Internal Auditing Professional (IAP) Program mandates a minimum duration of six months for each stage, which includes coaching and self-study time. The coaching sessions for the bi-annual sessions are held from March to June and from September to December. The faculty responsible for conducting the classes possess professional qualifications and practical knowledge in their respective fields. These coaching sessions are mandatory, but students may opt-out if they are exempted by The Institute of Auditing (TIA) due to unavailability of coaching facilities or if they have already attended classes at other professional institutes for the corresponding subjects. Additionally, correspondence courses are also available. The classes are conducted at TIA's own supervised or accepted coaching centers/campuses in all major cities, with the TIA's own center currently operating in Islamabad.
