TIA Pakistan Signed MOU/MRA With THE AICPA/CPAPRO UK

On the 13th of October 2023, The Institute of Auditing (TIA–Pakistan) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding/Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MOU/MRA) with The Association of International Certified Public Accountants/CPA Professional UK (The AICPA/CPAPRO-UK). This agreement was established to mutually recognize qualifications, training programs, and admit members in good standing through a specified bridging mechanism. Both institutions aim to take a leadership role in addressing the evolving challenges within the fields of Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Governance, Public Accounting, Financial and Management Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Corporate and Financial Reporting, Business Finance Decisions, and the regulatory landscape in an increasingly globalized context.

The Qualification Reciprocal Agreement between these two regulatory bodies serves to increase their visibility and acceptance within the professional community, ultimately leading to expanded career opportunities. TIA Pakistan Signed MRA with IFAP

The Institute of Auditing (TIA – Pakistan) entered into Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with The Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan (IFAP) on 5th June 2023 to recognize the qualification, training of each other and admit the members in good standing by prescribing a bridging mechanism. The both Institutes will have an opportunity to play the leadership role in addressing new challenges facing the profession of Internal Auditing and Forensic Accounting in a globalized environment. This Qualification Reciprocal Agreement between two regulatory institutions at both ends brings in elements of enhanced visibility and wider acceptance amongst the stakeholder community thus paving way for augmentation of increased professional opportunities. The TIA and IFAP share common and strong interests in the advancement of the profession of Internal Auditing and Forensic Auditing, especially in relation to the maintenance and strengthening of professional and educational standards in all sectors as well as the internationalization of the profession.
